Indians have a cultural problem when it comes to sanitation. These problems arise due to blockage, settlements and inadequate pumping capacities.

Advantages of Good Quality Public Toilets

  • The health of a city is inextricably linked to its toilets and it is imperative to provide them in sufficient numbers. What is needed is a proportioned and concerted effort to improve the condition of public toilets.

Disadvantages of Poor Quality Toilets

  • If public toilets are not maintained efficiently then they become as epicenters of germ transmission. Lack of proper regulation or not meeting compulsory standards result in poor toilet design, inadequate repairs and administration, unhygienic conditions and eventually result in the spread many harmful diseases.
